Red Canoe - National Heritage Brands

My wife got me this jacket for Christmas, and I can't say enough good things about it! It's warm, but not too warm, comfortable, shakes off the rain (we live on the Wet Coast) and holds out the wind. All that is great, but perhaps the best thing about wearing it is the affect it seems to have on others...I've never worn a garment that generated so many positive comments from people! We gave this jacket to my Dad (88 year-old WWII veteran) for Christmas. He absolutely loved it. The quality is great and it's very warm. Too bad you can't see the large and beautiful embroidery of the RCAF Wings on the back of the jacket. We bought Dad the lighter jacket for his spring birthday, 'cause he was complaining that this one would be too hot to wear in the summer! (Posted on 11/26/09)
